The 2022 JE1 Finals is back again to its face-to-face presentation after a two-year restriction.

The year 2022 saw JFETM execute the return to office (RTO) and subsequent hybrid work arrangements.

A recent collaboration among the JFEE offices at HQ, Manila, and Jakarta led to the development of the PT. JFEE Indonesia website.

JFE Techno Manila officially welcomed its president last April 1, 2022. Mr. Taizo Hiramatsu will replace Mr. Makoto Yamagishi, who has helmed the company for past 8 years from March 2014 to March 2022.

The 2021 JE1 Finals was again held via online. Last year’s event saw the return of a previous champion. The Civil Engineering Section exacted an exciting 1st place comeback with their Express Advanced Connection Tool (ExACT).

JFETM immediately applied for PEZA (Philippine Economic Zone Authority) certification when the latter issued a memorandum allowing work from home (WFH) arrangement of employees.

JFETM’s Work From Home (WFH) arrangement initially used Pulse Secure as the VPN for secured remote connection. But due to its circuitous setup, delays and frequent disconnection were experienced.

JFETM’s annual stockholder’s meeting was held last May 14, 2021 through MS Teams. Present in the meeting were Senior Managing Director Atsushi Okamoto, TM Director Nobuyuki Kachi, and Mr. Masahiko Takehana who represented JFEE.
